Boo

The story of Boo is very long. Short version, she wouldn't let us touch her for months. After many months of earning her trust, feeding her hotdogs/lunch meat and dave catching her and getting bit and scratched, she finally started to warm up to us. She would come around when we got home from work. She would stay in for a couple of hours and then leave. We kept on saying that we needed to get her fixed but then Gage showed up and we never did. She got pregnant. A couple of weeks ago. She was acting really weird, we knew she was going to have her babies. She didn't show up for a night but the next night she showed up and you could tell she had them. So yesterday she showed up during the day, which she has never done before. We let her in a couple of times but I knew she had her babies and kept putting her outside. So last night me and Dave were watching TV. Boo showed up at the door. But she kept on running off to the side. I went outside to see what she was doing and she had one of her babies! It looks greyish/white with dark ears and its tail is grey and white stripped. She was very protective of it and wouldn't let us get near it. Eventual I was able to get it and brought it inside and put it in Boo's kitty bed. We started to watch TV again when we noticed boo was gone. Then we noticed the baby was gone. She had hid it in the house somewhere! We finally found it under syd's bed. We decided we needed to put it back outside, just incase there was more, boo could go get the others. Dave made a make shift shelter for them and we stuck them in there. About five thirty we heard cats fighting so I ran downstairs to make sure the baby was ok. Boo and the baby were fine. Dave got up with Gage this morning to let me sleep. All of the sudden I hear "we need to go tell mom". I was thinking Gage did something but then Dave said that there are three baby kittens! Two white ones and a black one. I went out to look and the black one actual looks brown (i have already named it Bear) but they are so little. I remember having kittens when we were little and loving them so much. I have already asked Dave if we can keep the brown one. :) There is two boys and a girl.

Blessing

Gage was blessed today. He looked so cute in his little outfit. Dave did such a good job. I could feel the love from everyone that came today. It was an amazing experience. My sister made him the most amazing blessing blanket. It was so soft and warm.

Graduation!!!

I was there for her high school graduation and was there for her college graduation. I cried at both. Love Ya Bubs

Funny!

I can't believe I caught this picture! I love it! It makes me laugh everytime I see it. He is getting so big!(so since I am new to this blog stuff I can't figure out to rotate it and I am to tired to figure it out tonight)

Taller than everyone

That is what the Dr said when he walked in today for Gage's two month appointment. He is 24 1/2 inches long-95 % and 11 pounds 2 ounces-50%. He also got his shots which I know I had a harder time than he did with them. I had to look away and was on the verge of tears. He fussed a little and then went to sleep. He is so his dad when it comes to this stuff. I still get hysterical when it comes to shots. Yesterday I had, had it with Gage. He wouldn't go to sleep and he just wanted to be held and fuss and I didn't have time for it because it is a crazy week this week and needed to get things done. I tried everything. Finally I just decided to let him cry and not pick him up and just let him cry it out. So I put him in his little bathtub and started to get ready for the day (it was 3:30 in the afternoon but I had just gone to the gym so I needed a shower.) So he is fussing and crying and getting really upset when I told him to knock it off and he was ok. As soon as I said that he stopped crying looked up at me and smiled. SMILED! The stinker! He knows how to get to me already! He just smiles at me and he knows it makes my heart melt and he isn't in trouble anymore. We are in trouble with this one. He was ok for a bit and then started crying again and I let him cry himself to sleep.

House for Sale???

So Dave says to me this morning "There's a sign out on our lawn. One of the elementary kids must have put it there." I walk out and this is what I find:

We put it back in the yard to get the rumors going in the ward. Happy April 1st!
