Catching Up

So I have been majorly slacking lately on the blogging. Here are some photos of the past month or so...

Dave has been working around the neighborhood. Gage would get into Daves trailer and find all the sprinkler flags and carry them around

There is an Elk farm down the street and  Bradlee (dave's bro) knows the own. We went down to see them. They were really friendly and came and out of our hands. They were almost like horses instead of elk

Ada was blessed!

All 9 grandkids!

Brandon turned 8 and was baptized!
I decided I wanted a garden this year. Don't know where that came from, but it has been fun so far. I hope it turns out. We did starts and planted them outside and  by the next morning the birds has ate most of the plants. So we just planted some some more out there. Some of the others I just went and bought plants to make sure they worked.

Syd recieved her two goats and two pigs for the fair this year. They are all really friendly.

Fishing Tibble Fork

Gage put his finger in the fishes mouth and the fish bit down and stayed on his finger for a while. Long enough for Gage to lift up his hand and look at me with a worried look.

These guys were just off the side of the road when we were coming down the canyon.

All For Mom

So I started to run a few months back. I wanted to get back into shape post baby a year later. I hate running but it is one of the best things to do for yourself. Shalyce received a schedule on how to train your body to run. So I had her send it to me. I needed a little motivation to keep doing it so we decided to do the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer 5K in honor of my mom. I am not going to lie. This was an emotional thing for me. I would even start crying at the gym while running thinking about my mom. To push myself I would tell myself over and over that I was doing it for her. It was all worth it.

Dave didn't know I bought Gage a pink shirt. I put it on Gage and Dave stopped dead and said that it had ruffles and puffed sleeves. Ha!

Dave ran the whole thing with me. He didn't even have to train for it.

One year!

Lil' miss Ada! She looked so adorable.

Shalyce took us to Bruges after. Oh.My.Gosh! It was so good. I seriously thought about that waffle all day.
