Posh Camping

We went down to St George this past weekend. We picked up Shalyce, went and set up camp in Snow Canyon and it was to hot (103) so we went back to Shalyce's apartment where most of us took a nap. We headed back up and cooked tin foil dinners, went hiking and roasted marshmellows. The next day we went to Zions National Park. It was pretty cool. We never plan enough time. On our way back home we stopped by Shalyce's apt again, grabbed pizza, went swimming and on our way back up to camp grabbed snowcones. Ha! This was some really rough camping. The squirrels knew when we were gone or had gone to bed. Sneaky little things. The first night i was wishing we had brought a gun so I could shoot the squirrel that was dragging our garbage through bushes and the bird that started squaking at like 5 in the morning. Shalyce tried to "shush" it to death and then tried to kill it with a rock but neither worked. I think my favorite part was a load of Oriental tourist came down to the river we were sticking our feet in and started taking pictures of Syd because she was swimming in the river and also of Gage because he was throwing rocks in the river. It was so funny. I was trying to get to my camera to take a picture of them, taking pictures of my kids but it didn't happen.

Four Wheeling

Last year, while hunting Dave lost his range finder. It was brand new and in 2 feet of snow. He didn't find it. So on Saturday he wanted to go back up and try and find it. He has taken Syd up here a couple of times but i had never been and it is gorgous. We seriously live in an amazing state. As crazy as Dave is about his hunting and where he hikes to he does find some amazing places. His best friend Jeff came with us. His wifey was suppose to come but their little girl caught a really bad cold and she had to stay back home. Boo! It's no fun being the only girl and having to listen to hunting talk for hours.

New Libary Opening

West Jodan/Salt Lake County Built a new libaray by us. They had a huge party and had tons and tons of stuff to do and it was all free.

Summertime/Memorial Day

We went to the park were they had a progam that had they put on a progam in honor of fallen soldiers. Gage loved all the flags.



We buzzed Gage's hair. He wasn't to happy, but he looks so darn cute and a lot like his daddy!
