Painting the Driveway

So I try and pin things on pinterest that I am actually going to do or try. I have been really good about trying the different food for the most part and using stuff for church, but I have been slacking on doing different things with Gage. I was bored with all the normal stuff we do so I pulled this up that I had been wanting to try for a while. It is cornstarch, water and food die. I don't know if Gage really got the concept of painting. He has never done it before but I think it was a hit and we will do it again. We had easter color food die and after letting it dry it is almost florecent on our driveway and really stood out.

DUNK BALL!!!

Gage was up really early one morning and we went down to the kitchen to get breakfast started and I open up the blinds and see this turtle moving across the neighbors driveway. Gage was giving him his baseball to play with.

My parents watched Gage so we could go to the temple out there. It is one of the minuture ones. It was so small but still had the same feeling.

Gage and Papa chatting it up
we went to this really old cemetary in franklin and they had this gigantic tree. The branches hung clear down to the ground

One of the projects I worked on. I also had an activity day project that I worked on too.

We went to pinkerton park. This butterfly really liked dave and kept on landing on him. Gage didn't like it and was trying to figure it out.

My parents took us to a big splash park up in nashville. It was really nice and big. There was also toys near by, a sandbox, rockwall.

There was a bridge that crossed a river into downtown nashville. We went up to look out on it. The park is also right next to the NFL football stadium.

We have a teenager!

The outfit we gave sydney. My parents gave her a pair of blue colored pants that also were super cute

The friends that surprised her with her surprise party

She went dove hunting. I think I am a person that can handle a lot, but for some reason the birds got to me

Playing a game. We had wrapped candy up into a ball using shipping tape and they had to wear gloves to try and get it unwrapped. The person next to them rolled dice until they rolled doubles and then they had to pass the ball. Whatever candy they unrolled they got to keep. It was hilarous watching them. Gage would pick up any candy that became loose from the wrappers and inhale them.

I can't believe she is 13. She had changed a lot in the past few months. Life is also getting a little tougher. She has some major life challenges coming up in her life. It is scary as a parent to have to sit back and try and not control her life. You can only seriously pray most of the time to make sure she picks the correct way to lead her life. She is an amazing girl and I really don't think we are going to have to much trouble with her.
