Happy Day!

We made it to birthday #2 and let me tell you we barely made it. It probably didn't help that Gage had pneumonia the week before his birthday and we were all running on no or very little sleep for four days before his birthday. The song "Its my party and I'll cry if I want to, cry if I want too...." kept running through my head. But he is a delight when he isn't kicking, hitting, drawing on the walls, climbing out of his crib, putting butt paste in his hair (which if you are wondering how to get out you need to put apple cider vinegar in it and it is still grease, you just have to do it multiple times) trying to squish the cat or telling me "nope" or "no no no".

Favorites: Cheese, hot chocolate or chocolate milk, Jesus wants me for a sunbeam, twinkle twinkle little star, friends, library, books, class aka nursery at church, doing his hair, dunk ball, football, monkey, blankie, temples, "working" with dad, moon, airplanes, helicopter, DONUTS, oranges, "jam" sandwiches (peanut butter and jam) music in the car (kids CD), Buzz/Toy story, Sydney, Danny, he has to give you knuckles, high five and a kiss before you leave, Dinosaur train, climbing, fruit snacks

Favorite sayings: "What's that?" (points to something) "Mom hug" (runs over and hugs my legs) "I gonna getch you" (he says this at the funniest times, we were following Dave to drop off his truck to get it fixed and as we are driving down the road he kept on saying it.) "Come on mom" "Happy Day!" (instead of happy birthday), "Yahoo" "hooray!"

He is figuring out his letters, numbers, colors & shapes. He is off the charts on his height again. I think the Dr was waiting for him to gain weight but this last time the Dr said he could believe that he is just going to be really tall and skinny. We can not wait until summer! Winter is killing us. The snow is partially melted on the grass and he just ran and ran the other day. I told him to tell daddy we needed to move to St George.
