Dave's killer deal

I was cleaning out the pantry this past week before we went camping and I come across this bag full of kool-aid that I had totally forgotten about. We went to Winco and while I was shopping for real food. Dave plunks this bag full of kool-aid down in the cart. I pick it and say to him "Really?" His reply"Yeah! They are ten cents a piece so for four bucks we can get FOURTY!" So, yes that is fourty bags of kool-aid. I guess we have our one year supply of kool-aid.

Poco & Willow

Meet Willow and Poco

So this summer Syd has had a little summer job. She decided to buy a lizard with her money. This was a lot better than the boa snake she wanted to buy. I was thinking I can handle a lizard. When she actually brought it home I was kind of having a panic attack. A creepy crawlly thing in my house. I just had to keep telling myself. This is prepping me for boys. Then she bought another one because Poco was lonely. Really. I could barely handle one let alone two. (Dave took her to the store. They were going to go "look". I was in TN when it happened) But as you watch them eat there crickets, worms and there skin as they molt. They are pretty cool. I will never touch them though.

All Star Game

For Christmas or birthday I gave Dave tickets to the All -Star game that was in Utah. It is 3A so one step below the Pros. It was a three day event. Dave loves baseball and likes to go to the Bee's games. I also did this so we could have a date night. The fireworks were amazing.

Tennessee

I went to Tennessee for a week to help my mom out while she did a chemo treatment. It was beautiful out there. So green. I kept on telling Dave how green it was and how pretty everything is. The humidity was crazy. The last day I was there it was 100 degrees and because of the humidity it made it 113. You would walk outside and it would be like a wall of hot moisture. The lighting bugs were out. I came home and was seriously depressed by the desert. The pictures are in no particular order. I went downtown Franklin the day my mom went to go get her treatment. The rest of the time we sat around and talked a ton. I am so excited to be going back in September. Done. This is when we came home and I was getting luggage. It was midnight but really 1 for us since TN is an hour ahead of us.
We always go to this jewelery store. They have some cute stuff.

Fell in love with this store. I could have bought almost everything in it.

They have these old cemeteries. They also have these stone walls everywhere.

Gage would just jabber to my dad.

He was being so funny with the blanket. Put it over his head and then take it off.

There was a bird that was flying around inside the airport

I love his big eyes.

He likes sleeping on his side now????

We had the biggest storm come through. The rain out there is so different than it is out here. It was a down pour.

July 3rd & 4th

He feel asleep as soon as we got to Dave's parents house. He didn't stay asleep for long!

Neon sparklers! They weren't so great but you try.

We can finally let off ariels here in Utah and everyone went nuts! This is the one Dave picked out. He LOVES fireworks.

These pictures are in no particular order. I flew out to TN on the fourth and so we did fireworks the night before. Then on the 4th morning we had Dave's family over for breakfast. Where they decided to set up the tramp we had bought in the fall and there was no point in setting it up then because of winter. Gage loves pop its. I have video of him laughing on my phone. I couldn't get it to send to my email or else I would have posted it. He didn't cry once with all the flash and bang.

Swimming

We went swimming for the first time this season (Gage's first time) a couple of weeks ago we have been again since the first time. Syd is a fish and can swim and play for hours. Gage has figured out splashing. Gage loved the water. He didn't care if it was cold or warm

First steps into the pool.

He just kept on looking down at the water. Yes that is a big piece of drool about to come out of his mouth but the picture was priceless.

All ready to go

It seriously took me ten tries to get one good picture. I was going to put them on here but it would take to long. Some of them are pretty funny.

Within 45 minutes of being at the pool a rain/hail storm rolled in. This is Syd and her friend Aubrey out in the rain. They were wet anyways.
