Sydney's Band Concert

Ah to be in sixth grade again. Where the girls have hit there growth sperts and the boys haven't. To have it be the most awkward stage in your life. I wish everyone could skip this stage in life. I think it would make the world a better place.
We went down to Richfield to see Syd's first band concert. It was funny in the weeks ahead, she kept calling to make sure we were coming, even though we told her we were. She was pointing at us and telling everyone that we were there and after she took Gage to show him off. It was really cute.

This is Sydney's best friend Abby. It was so nice to finally meet her. She is a really good friend and a cute girl.

Getting into the Christmas Spirit

Cute towels my mom sent me

Ordaments I gave my kids with a bag of treats.

My lists

So instead of doing important things like laundry, getting dress, feeding my kid ( which it doesn't matter since he has figured out he can drink out of the cats milk bowl) I decided to get ready for christmas. It was snowing and I turned on christmas music, grabbed the presents (which by the way, when I am rich someday I want a room for my wrapping paper and to have hundreds of rolls. I love wrapping paper.) and started to wrap, make treats for my primary class and Dave's sunday school class, and work on my parents gift. Post about that later. I love christmas.

Getting Stuck

So the stinker thinks that he can go anywhere now. Basically, he thinks everything and everyone should part for him. The problem is that things that aren't alive, don't. Here he is getting stuck but thinking that it is the chairs fault.

Here he is trying to get out from under the chair

Because he has to go the most difficult way in, he has to do the most difficult way out and causing himself to get stuck.

Temple Square

We went to Temple Square yesterday. I was a little worried because Gage had been sick and I was hoping it would all work out. Sydney had never been and we didn't go last year. I think it helped put me into the christmas spirit. It hasn't felt like christmas to me yet but today I am actually excited. Lots to do in the next couple of weeks.

Randomness

Peek a Boo!

I am so cute

I am only 10 months old but will look like I am 5

I'm #1! I don't know why but she kept on doing this on all the pictures

He wouldn't let me take a picture of just him we had to have his tortilla shell in it too. I was a crapy aunt and didn't get a picture of Danny at his baptism.

Sick

After he had barfed in his crib. Sleeping with towels

I brought him into our bed after Dave had gone to work. Boo kitty was by his side all day long.

My poor little man. It was so not like him to just sit and not move. We hung out on the couch all day and watched TV and movies.

He barfed the first time on Wednesday while we were having lunch. He acted normal and played the rest of the afternoon. After dinner he barfted up dinner and then after we laid him down. The next day he dry heaved at 6:30 but nothing after that. He was so thirsty. He doesn't understand to sip a little and you can't scarf down food. He finally perked up around 4:30 on Thursday. Friday we decided to go get Syd, we pull into the driveway and he barfs all in his carseat. He hasn't thrown up since but we jump at every noise he makes since he threw us for a loop last night we getting sick again. It is so sad to see them sick and there is nothing you can do for them. I can't imagine what parents go through when their child has cancer or something else and they just have to watch them be ill all the time. They are bigger, stronger and better people than me.

10 months & 2 months

I watched my friend Tamara's baby the other day. She is going back to school and she needed some time to study. Teagan is two months old and adorable. She looks a lot like her dad right now. Gage was really curious at first ( I think he was trying to figure out if she was real) and would go play but would come back if he heard her and she what she was doing. But then Gage became upset and I couldn't pick him up because I was feeding Teagan and he would try and push my hands away from her so I could pick him up. You could see it in his face that he wasn't happy that I was holding someone else and not him. It was pretty funny. I see why parents have kids so close together. The siblings don't know any different because they grew up together.

Helping her swing even though it moves all on its own
