Fall has arrived

Fall is in full swing here in Utah. At least up in the mountains. It is still in the upper 80's in the valley. It should change next week and go down to the 60's.  We went driving on Sunday to try and find a place to get our family photo's done. This is pretty much the only part I like about fall. The changing of the leaves. They are amazing! So bright and different colors and some trees are half one color and half another. I love it.

Hunt #2-Antelope Wyoming

 A little baby horny toad

I would try and cover Gage's ears when they shot there guns. Here he is wearing Dave's ear plugs.
Riding up front with daddy because mom couldn't take his screaming anymore.
Dave's antelope. It is seriously a really big antelope. They are small creatures and fun to watch when there is a lot of them.

This is what I drove around in all three days. A whole lot of nothing.
Hanging out while dad took care of his Antelope

 Brad antelope
This motorhome we saw in a tiny little town earlier and then when we stopped in Evanston it was there again. It had a strob light and music playing. They made custom stickers. They also had stickers that you could buy on display around the whole motor home. This was the highlight of my trip. I thought it was so funny. This hunt was the longest three days of my life. In the car for 12 hrs a day. As you can see in the pictures above there isn't much to look at.

Dave's Elk-Hunt #1 2011

When Elk rut they wallow in mud. Here is one doing that.

 All muddy

 Hi!

 Big bull

This guy didn't like the camera. For 7 plus minutes he attacked the camera. He knocked it out of the tree and knocked the chip out so he could have done it longer but here are some of the pictures it took while he was beating it up

Dave set up a few trail cameras when he was hunting. These pictures are off the one that my parents gave him for Christmas last year. It is so cool to see animals and how they act normal without being spooked or smelling you and taking off even before you can see them. We meet a guy up at fish lake that had a trail camera picture of a cougar circluling  a porcupine and some bears. For some reason I can't save the pictures that he sent me of his elk, once I figure it out I will post the pictures. He shot a 5 x 6 on the last day. It was a lot smaller then he wanted but it was better than not killing anything. Elk are amazing creatures. Here are some pictures from his trail camera. The last two picture are from the first weekend of the hunt that I forgot to post earlier. Dave rolled over this huge rock as we were heading out! I thought it was so funny but that might have been because I was stuck in a trailer for two days straight and was pretty bored.

Going to Grandma and Papa's house

He loves looking at himself on my phone.

 First basketball! Thanks Papa!
He started to get up on his knees when we were there. He even moved one hand and one knee forward.
He would scoot himself under here and get stuck.
 I love this barn
My mom's PE uniform. That is right, it had her name embroidered on it.
 Pep uniform
 One of my dresses.
 Uncle Matt's sweater
I went to this farmer's market and they had the coolest and brightest vegetable there. The stuff was huge too. I bought a cantalope as big as a basketball.

I caught him laughing at himself when he would look in the mirror.
He tries to get the camera now
 Going for a walk.

 Full moon
 He likes to eat straws
My mom had this toy and at first he thought it was prickle and wouldn't touch it. But then he started to eat it all the time.

 Snuggling with grandma
Love love love this picture.
